From the starting point, towards Hundschopf, via the Minschkante and on to the Kernen-S: from the morning of Thursday, 18 January 2018, most of the famous key points on the Lauberhorn are open for all winter sports athletes. Shortly after the Swiss success in Wengen, daring souls can now try the longest Ski World Cup descent and attempt to retrace the perfect line of the winner, Beat Feuz. In the next few days, the lowest part of the run, the Ziel-S, will also be completed. From Saturday, 20 January, the original Lauberhorn downhill run will be permanently available. A souvenir picture is ensured for all winter athletes who dare to tackle the slope from the starting point, which is equipped with an installed photo point.

Halfpipe and Eiger Run
In Grindelwald and Wengen, there are very good winter sports conditions and all facilities are open. On Grindelwald-First, there is an extensive offer for freestylers. In addition to the two snow parks, the World Cup format halfpipe is also open. For the first time this season, a 15x15 metre air cushion is available for trial jumps.

Throughout the winter sports area, visitors can expect a rich network of prepared winter hiking and sledging paths. The Eiger Run, directly below the Eiger North Face, is a special experience for sledging fans. The route between Alpiglen and Brandegg is lit up at night. From Wednesday to Saturday, until 10 March 2018, evening trips take place daily (17.47 from Grindelwald, 17.55 from Grindelwald Grund). Between Brandegg and Alpiglen, the Wengernalp Railway subsequently operates a shuttle service until 22.40 in good weather (last ascent). Night sledging is combined with fondue in one of the two mountain buildings, Alpiglen or Brandegg.
