The Jungfraujoch railway station has earned the title “Top of Europe”. If only because of its location. It lies 3,454 metres above sea level and is thus the highest railway station in Europe. Anyone who arrives here has almost made it. Only a few steps or a ride in a lift separate the guest from the ultimate alpine experience: the view of the Aletsch Glacier and the four-thousand-metre peaks. You would not expect to find this at the rock cavern where the tracks end.
